12/27/05-Mantis praying detached inspection alien advanced string theory itch in my left nostril going to sneeze hatchoo bitter black coffee recounted stories a hat's message matters far less than function one wall here california omelet with beans fruit salsa wow fran's vehicle passed the re-inspection crossed fingers grapefruit slices san antonio school days first mexican food puff cute in a pink ribbon bonnet if austin's average intellect is higher there must be at least one place lower we might live there instead palm suffering in the drought fran's mom mailed her a spider new to this area chaos theory what if you stepped on a butterfly in the distant past package late cost of living wages deferred dean's list honors program social welfare vs. blatant greed engines for positive change my earliest car a volkswagen bug rude papa at a late stage sixty-five thousand at the university of texas local campus now waffles a time of celebration in our country only fifteen percent do not believe in an interventionist personal god if truth were popularly chosen the churches would have to be right but if a contrarian when almost all are right they must be quite wrong oh joy the day is coming here when we shall have ceaseless summer absolutely no relief...




12/12/05-Things not going quite as planned becoming a doctor or orchestra member but fulfillment thwarted loving another but advances spurned invading a country without good cause yet encountering insurgents driving to the post office but being cut off a wreck barely averted seeds sown but on hard dry soil warring with terrorists yet creating many more teaching literacy or intellectual freedom and insisting on dogma in place of science mandating control but losing freshness spontaneity fun combating disease and generating germs immune to the strongest safe treatments promoting foreign democracies by subverting democratic principles forcing jocularity yet squelching true humor preaching understanding but living intolerance self-righteousness hypocrisy the origins of our discontents lie in ourselves...
