3/25/18 - Title: "Fall Guy"

Scene One - The actress (Mary-Louise Parker) and character (Amy) who, in one of the seasons, plays Josh's girlfriend and the First Lady's Chief of Staff in "The West Wing" is in this dream with a few others. It is, evident from her body language, she is depressed. Also, she is moping about, hardly talking at all, unlike her. I am an old guy in the dream (as in reality) and not particularly taken notice of, but I realize she's down and am concerned about her. A few of her friends, closer to her age, are similarly worried, but none of us seems to know what to do or if we should do anything. Yet it does occur to me she is feeling badly enough she might kill herself.

Scene Two - A few of us are in a park or wooded area. We have lost track of the depressed woman. For some reason there is an expectation that in trying to kill herself, she might jump out of a tree. Three men, including me, look up into the limbs of the tall trees nearby but do not see her. Suddenly something falls out of a tree and one of the other men catches it, protecting it from injury. I think it might have been her, but, no, it is an animal or small person, like a blend of a rabbit and a human baby. Somehow this seems normal in the dream, and we are glad he caught it, and it is OK. I think he puts it down on the ground and it moves off normally. All of a sudden there is a sound like something crashing through the leaves or branches, and the depressed woman is falling right near me. I do not stop to think but just put out my arms and catch her, ending her fall, and both she and I are OK.

3/31/18 - Title: "Loss"

I am assisting Warren Buffett in walking down a steep roadway. We are at the left side of the roadway (do not remember whether there's a sidewalk, we're on the shoulder, or we are on the side of the vehicular part of the road). About half-way down the slope (the slope's total length estimated as about 100 feet), he begins to slump and evidently is losing consciousness or is in enough physical distress (heart attack? stroke?) that he can no longer remain upright. I try to hold him up to prevent his being hurt further in a fall, but he is too heavy for me. I call for someone to come help, but by the time anyone takes notice and comes to our aid he has fallen down, albeit with me at least slowing his fall backward. I think an ambulance is called, and he is then getting medical attention, but the incident is not resolved. It is uncertain if he will recover. I feel at a loss, worried that I could not help more though I was with him at the time, worried too that he will not pull through. (In the dream, he and I are good friends.)
