9/2/10-A slope of thigh a lengthened sigh a pleasing shape of functional furniture chocolate turtles swimming slowly down the alimentary canal...




9/22/10-With care you fed it special leaves selected for it from exactly the right plant. You had sheltered it from predators. You watched over as it slept through the long dormant months, and then you delighted, ecstatic, at its emergence today, a beautiful and delicate new creature. Yet the clouds were too thick, the rains intense, and so you bid it for yet awhile remain in its safe place while you planned perfect photos you would take. The sun again beaming, you opened its enclosure to gently coax it out and capture its image without giving fright. Without a backward thought, freedom seeking, mere inches from your hand at first, in an instant it flew off, crisscross, fluttering high. You watched it till forever out of reach and wondered at the cost, this whimsy and finality of loss...
