![]() Disclaimer - IMPORTANT - Read this first!
9/30/21-There have been no changes in our basic 25 holdings since the last entry. They therefore remain: AWF; BGFV; BHK; CIO; CRWD; DDOG; DX; EQTIX; LSPD; MNDY; NAVI; NET; NLY; ODC; QQQE; SCU; STX; UPST; VB; VBR; VIOO; VOO; VTV; WU; and XLE. Annual total dividends from my wife's and my portfolio will still readily exceed our target for the year of $54,000. Liquid assets are down $52,387 or 2.28% since 8/31 and currently stand at $2,249,724. Assets of all kinds (real estate, equities, collectibles, etc.) are up 20.50% since 12/31/20. Our nest egg total is now $2,643,154. This is a $467,729 increase over its level at the end of 2020. Thanks to a significant proportion of the total being as yet in reserves or bond assets, our losses are off about half as much as for the S&P 500 Index in September.
Disclaimer and Disclosure StatementNeither I nor Investor's Journal will be responsible for losses by anyone who obtained ideas from this site. This diary is intended for personal interest and general information only. You are advised to do your own research (as well as to consult highly compensated professionals) before spending money on anything. I know of no reason anyone should take my financial musings seriously. At best I am a dedicated amateur providing a bit of investment-related insight and entertainment, at worst an amusing diversion. My wife, Fran, and I may at times own shares of some of the assets mentioned here. But neither of us receive any benefit from reference to them, unless you count the mutual misery when we get it wrong, or the opportunity to gloat when we get it right.
