28 31The specifics are forgotten, but I experienced a number of scenes in which there were no men, but the women (all adults) varied across a wide spectrum of traditionally masculine vs. feminine roles and modes of relating to themselves, their settings, and one another. There were both sisterly and sexual couples and thus some birth family pairings and others in which the relationships were more intimate in all respects. Still others were just good friends, with no obvious romantic overtones.
