10/31/03-See you later then the market's down fifteen libido up twenty collected babel flat worms crossing my exercise path the dead roman toga clad patron passes string theory riddles percolating through my brain central market candy mountains nubile lasses cavorting the short hairs not yet gray lips compressed energy fields circling my mouth going numb faulkner eight hundred gourmet coffees bottled water babies microwaved raw breast milk halloween party hams jewish thatch cool kafka a little o this that jack a coral snake on the low water crossing after the flood paul elder books motorcycle master tiny orange pumpkins gurdjieff ouspensky's the work fresh bread bellow singer malamud roth heller surf's up ferlinghetti kerouac lantern can you hear me now I'm at the store I'll be home I'm an idiot with nothing more to say and nothing better to do than call and say it...

10/15/03-Butt muscles tensed relaxed sweet touch as she likes it awaiting the next strike of terror three score times I've been around the sun no longer young improbably have become an ancient one in the mirror this face once smooth now upon reflection presents an interesting landscape of contoured uneven flesh sun scorched frost heaved rutted pot-holed scarred wild growth riven with tired eyes skull bone lesions scalp humps and ash-hued hair most of my years who knows where how much in error behind me now life's too fast long past a momentarily static hover fly's image instantly captured that cannot last like that...




10/06/03-Oh getting old is not so fun but bless me lord with luck I've only just begun...
